Once again, the Bath round of the GA WorldWise Quiz was held in the lovely setting of the Elwin Room, Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute. Eight teams were entered from Corsham School, Sir Bernard Lovell Academy, Beechen Cliff and Kings Edwards School, Bath. Dick Bateman was the ‘quizmaster’ and Dr. Jane Knight the ‘honorary quizmistress’. One of the KES teams were winners, while the other team from KES was joint second with a team from Beechen Cliff. The top teams will take on the best from the Bristol version of the quiz held earlier this month. The grand final will be held at the University of Bristol in March 2019.
