Bath WWQ 2015 – King Edwards take first place

On Wednesday 25 November 2015, the Bath Geographical Association Worldwise Quiz took place again in the beautiful Elwin room at the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institute. Four schools, Beechen Cliff, King Edwards, Wellsway and Writhlington entered nine teams between them. In six hotly contended and, at times, tricky rounds, including OS map questions, Google images and a round set by the Field Studies Council, a team from King Edwards School pulled ahead of Beechen Cliff to win. Dick Bateman acted as question master and the Geography and Adventure Group kept the scores. The first and second-placed teams will now compete against the two winning teams from Bristol, Bristol Grammar School and Redland High School, on Wednesday 18 March 2016 in the Old Council Chamber of The University of Bristol.
